When working to tell stories about anything, we make the emotional connection our top priority. Put simply, we like to speak to the heart. On our mission to inspire people with each piece we create, choosing the right words can make all the difference. With a background in writing for production, Jan writes scripts that are ready to be brought to life while providing vivid descriptions of the final product long before cameras and lights come into frame.
Good design is more than a goal, it's our moral obligation. The way we see it, if people are going to spend some of their life experiencing something we create, it better be worth their while. It's our objective to find styles that match their message, in turn creating complete experiences for audiences. No matter the project, we treat all assignments as pieces of art--some that incite change and push for progress, others that celebrate things that are already good--we hope all of them inspire.
If enough people put some of their life into a story, the story can have one of its own. We can design and write all we want, but this is where it all comes together, where the magic happens. These days, a solid design and clever messaging often need to be brought to life to reach the most people. That's where our production department comes in--focused on capturing the stuff that captivates.
If the work had a soul, it'd be the music. That's how we see it--so you'll often see us starting with musical ideas before we even think about design and words. We even get to compose and orchestrate original scores for some projects--bringing in-house custom production to a whole new level. Wether we source out the music or record it in our studio, you can bet that every piece that leaves our shop will have soul you can heart and feel.
Realizing that our other specialties lent themselves to whole-brand development, we've added branding to our tactical line-up. In one place, we can dream up logos, taglines, eloquent identity messaging, jingles, and brand essence videos. It's an ideal, multi-media approach to new-age branding that works time after time. We define and sculpt the organization's personality so that the it becomes relatable on a human-to-human level.

We understand that you might need help helping--which is why JPKi consistently works with non-profit organizations at reduced rates whenever possible. As we grow, this side of the company grows too. So does our impact. After all, we're all here for each other.


I've always considered myself a storyteller. But as it turns out, everyone is. It's how we share and communicate each time we interact with one another. I'm a writer, filmmaker, musician, designer, director--all driven by a fervor for making people think and dream. In my work, I aim to sculpt emotion and evoke in people the longing to take their thoughts and dreams and do something with them--no matter how great or small. JPKi allows me to work on a larger scale both individually and with the brilliant artists on my project teams. I'm overwhelmed by the number of stories I want to tell--thankfully, there's only one world to change--why not start there?
